Company Profile
Fail Telecommunications (FTC) founded INTOP Internet Operations in 1996,
offering dial-up and dedicated Internet access in Jackson as well as
local Independent Telephone Companies in Mississippi and Georgia. Later that year,
FTC created Arriva Communications to offer Long Distance service to its customers.
In the fall of 1999, Arriva and Intop merged into neXband Communications and began expansion
of their service offerings. This new company, neXband, kept the old Companies' service as a
wholesaler to Independent Local Exchange Carriers(ILEC) and added to the services being
provided to the ILEC's. At that time, neXband expanded retail services throughout the state.
Today, neXband Communications offers a total one-bill communications solution, while continuing
to be privately held with no investor influence.
What We Do
Not only does neXband Communications provide Internet and Long Distance(LD) service, but
also offers business class Voice over IP Centrex. This is a feature rich product that
allows a customer to eliminate his Bell lines and have PBX style features without the
PBX hardware. It also allows the customer to take advantage of additional lines
without additional network cost. Combined with this, the customer also has a High Speed
Internet connection and low rate LD. neXband is also a Service Bureau providing
retail-billing solutions to Independent Phone Companies.
neXband Communications is a full-service ISP offering dial-up, ISDN, DSL and
dedicated Internet connections to residential and business users. Included with our
services are webhosting, website design, domain name registration, server colocation,
network design and management.
